Welcome to the ANCC dive team for 2025! We cannot wait to kick things off with many returning divers and lots of new Patriots. We are thrilled that all of our coaches are returning this year!  Head Coach, Anita, along with assistant coaches, Gabby, CC, Nathan, and Sam, are looking forward to meeting the team.

PRACTICE STARTS TOMORROW!  BRING A TOWEL TO EACH PRACTICE AND MEET!

Here are the practice times for the season:

Thursday, 29 May to Thursday, 12 June (weekdays)

• 5:50 PM to 7:00 PM

Monday, 16 June to Friday, 18 July

• 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM – Ages 8 and Under and 11-12 Year Olds
• 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM – 9-10 Year Olds and 13 and Overs

Sunday practices take place on 15 June, 22 June, 29 June, 6 July, 20 July from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM.

Siblings in different age groups have the option to practice at the same time and divers with a conflict can discuss changing times with the Head Coach.

By now you know that most of the activities in which your kids are involved require volunteers on some level.  ANCC Dive team is no different and there are many ways you can help.

Per my previous email, we are hosting judges and referee training next week. Here is the link to the sign-up genius. Thank you to everyone who has signed up so far. Once you are certified, you can sign up to judge in Swimtopia.

If you do not want to judge, we also need people to write scores or put labels on ribbons at the table during meets, help with our Dive Team social events, distribute team t-shirts and sammies, and prepare for the banquet later in the season. AND we need photographers!  If you have an interest in being one of the team photographers, please let me know. I will also set up a drop box where you can load any photos you take during practices or meets.

Each family is required to volunteer in two slots over the course of the summer. If your family does not complete at least two shifts during the regular season, your diver(s) will be at risk of not being able to compete at Dive Champs. This is consistent with other CCSDA club team policies.

On Monday, 2 June, we need a few divers of all abilities to stay after the regularly scheduled end of practice to demonstrate dives for the judges training. The training (and the divers' participation) will end by 8:00 PM. Thank you for considering letting your diver stay late.

Looking ahead; our first meet will take place at home vs. Kenwood on June 16^th. Team shirts and sammies will be distributed before the first meet.
