By now you know that most of the activities in which your kids are involved require volunteers on some level.  ANCC Dive team is no different.

WE CANNOT HAVE DIVE MEETS WITHOUT JUDGES!

We need to maintain a list of trained and qualified judges from our club, so we can provide judges for all of our meets.  Ideally, we will have 2-3 judges for the 8-12 year old events and 2-3 for the 14-18 year old events. That way, no one person has to judge an entire meet, unless they want to, and you don't have to judge the age group of your child, unless you (or they) don't mind.

Completing judges training ensures that our judges are knowledgeable, confident, and fair.

We have arranged to have a trainer to conduct training sessions for us in person this year.  Below is the sign up for the sessions. You only need to attend one session, not both.  Completing the training will be good for two years.  If you are currently a certified judge in another league and can show documentation, please let me know.  You will not need to complete additional training this year.

If you don't want to judge, please sign up to work at the table. We need people to write scores or put labels on ribbons.  The best view of the diving is from the pool deck!

The ANCC Swim and Dive Team Committee in partnership with the ANCC staff and coaches has introduced a change to the volunteer requirements for the 2024 summer season.  Each family is required to volunteer in two slots over the course of the summer. This can include volunteering at meets or social events. Families must sign up for volunteer slots using Swimtopia during the season and each family's participation will be tracked. If your family has not completed at least two shifts during the regular season, your diver(s) are at risk of not being able to compete at Dive Champs.  This is consistent with other CCSDA club team policies.
