Welcome to the ANCC dive team for 2023! We are excited for a full season at our new aquatic facility and cannot wait to kick things off with many returning divers and lots of new Patriots as well.  This email contains A LOT of information, so please stick with it until the end and let me know if you have any questions ([email protected]).

PRACTICE STARTS TOMORROW!  PLEASE BRING A TOWEL TO EACH PRACTICE! Our teams are so large, we request that you please bring towels to practices and meets.

Here are the practice times for the season:

Wednesday, 31 May to Friday, 9 June (weekdays)

• 5:45 PM to 7:00 PM

Monday, 12 June to Wednesday, 14 June

• 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM
• 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM

Thursday, 15 June to Friday, 21 July (weekdays)

• 11:30 AM TO 1:30 PM

Friday, 2 June: Swim/Dive/Junior Team Parents Social on the Dive Inn Deck at 5 pm (a chit bar will be available).

Friday, 23 June: Team Photo

Thursday, 20 July: Junior Champs

Friday, 21 July: Senior Champs (at home!)

Friday, 28 July: Swim and Dive Team Banquet in the Ballroom

Now comes the part where I ask you to consider getting involved.  Because our league uses parents as judges, we need at least 10 people to get trained to act as our judges this season. We will have a few different training methods available so that all of our judges will feel confident in their judging abilities.  More on that in a separate email, because I know you are getting tired of reading this one.

We will be asking everyone (teammates, coaches, parent, everyone!) to agree to and sign the CCSDA Code of Conduct.  It is important that we clearly state expectations for everyone involved in the league and have concrete steps to address infractions. As Army Navy, I believe our team can set ourselves apart as models of good sportsmanship.
