Dear ANCC Swim Parents,

Next Monday and Tuesday ANCC is hosting the CCSDA swim championships. This is a really fun event and there is no better way to watch than to volunteer! We need many volunteers to help make this event run smoothly and show the rest of the clubs why ANCC is the best! 

Below please find a link to a sign-up genius and a quick description of the roles. Please pay particular attention to the time slots.  They are:

- Monday morning the 10&U swim preliminary heats

- Monday afternoon the 11+ swim preliminary heats

- Tuesday morning is all ages free/back finals

- Tuesday afternoon is all ages relays/breast/fly finals

Also, please note that timer opportunities are handled by CCSDA itself, we expect a sign-up for that soon. Volunteers should come to the pool familiarization session on Sunday morning to do a walk through of the job responsibilities if possible. Also, we are all team players so we will make sure you are able to watch your children's events!

As additional motivation to sign up, the quicker these slots get filled, the less often you will receive emails from me over the next four days. :) Thank you for your consideration and go Army Navy!

Volunteer Job Descriptions:

- Parking attendants: Help monitor/assist with flow and designated parking spots. Please note this job will start an hour before warm-ups, but will conclude before the meet starts!

- Deck Marshalls: Help control/direct/block the crowds on deck

- Runners: Run DQ slips from the referee to table; run timing slips; post results

- Clerk of Course: Help shepherd the kids into clerk of course, through the chairs, to their lanes, and on to the blocks

- Awards Runners: Help the awards team get information needed for awards on finals day
