Every July, the Army Navy Country Club Swim and Dive team participates in an aquathon benefitting the Yellow Ribbon Fund. Swimmers and divers raise funds for YRF’s critical programs and services by getting contributions either per lap/dive or lump sum donations. YRF has been the club’s charity partner for 11 years. This year, ANCC’s Yellow Ribbon Aquathon is Friday, July 6th at 8:00 AM at the Olympic Pool in Arlington.

Since 2005, the Yellow Ribbon Fund has been dedicated to meeting the varied and changing needs of wounded and ill service members being treated at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital. YRF’s programs provide free lodging and rental cars to visiting family members and patients returning for medical treatment; respite, peer-to-peer support, and networking activities as well as life-skills training for caregivers; and social gatherings and trips to DC area cultural and sporting events so families can enjoy much-needed breaks from hospital life.

We need ALL our swimmers and divers to ask family and friends to be sponsors in this ANCC effort to support our veterans and their families.

Donor forms are available at the Aquatics Desk or you may download the form by clicking here. Forms and donation will be collected on the day of the Aquathon through the deadline on Friday, July 20th. Donations may also be made online here: http://weblink.donorperfect.com/ANCCaquathon2018. We will announce the total raised by the team at the banquet on July 27^th.

Forms and donations collected after the Aquathon should be turned in to the Front Desk in the main clubhouse (Tuesday-Sunday, 9AM-9PM). Please place your donor forms and checks/cash in a sealed envelope and write "YRF Aquathon, ATTN: XX" on the front.
